MITS Entrance Test 2021

MET-2021 EXAM SYLLABUS

The entrance exam for MET-2021 will be based on the 10+2 level syllabus of CHSE and CBSE board. Candidates are advised to follow any standard university level UG entrance test to get a detailed idea of the syllabus.

Inorganic Chemistry: Classification of Elements and Periodicity of Properties, General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Metals, Hydrogen, S-Block Elements, P-Block Elements, D and F-block Elements, Coordination Compounds, Environmental Chemistry.

 

Organic Chemistry: Purification and Characterization of Organic Compounds, Basic Principles of Organic Chemistry, Hydrocarbons, Organic Compounds containing Hydrogen, Organic   Compounds   containing   Oxygen,   Organic   Compounds   containing   Nitrogen, Polymers, Biomolecules, Chemistry in Everyday Life, Principles Related to Practical Chemistry.

MATHEMATICS

 

Sets Relations and Functions, Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations, Matrices and Determinants, Permutations and Combinations, Mathematical Induction, Binomial Theorem and its Simple Applications, Sequences and Series, Limit Continuity and Differentiability, Integral Calculus, Differential Equations, Coordinate Geometry, Three-Dimensional Geometry, Vector Algebra, Statistics and Probability, Trigonometry, Mathematical Reasoning.

BIOLOGY

 

Ecology and Environment, Biotechnology and its Applications, Sexual Reproduction, Biology and Human Welfare, Genetics and Evolution, rDNA Technology, Environmental Biotechnology.

ENGLISH

 

Writing a paragraph, writing personal letters and notes, Tense patterns, Modal verbs, Prepositions, The imperatives, Vocabulary skills, Information transfer, Dictionary and reference skills.
